AUTOrecruit has been assisting employers for over 25 years with their recruitment and selection needs.
Our company timeline
- 1993 – Geoff Fowler commences as a Consultant for Laurie Williams, a Melbourne-based automotive recruiter trading as LJ Williams and Associates. Geoff looked after recruitment activities from Northern Rivers in the east, to Geraldton in the west, and all locations north of these areas.
- 1995 – Geoff takes over the above territory in his own right from Laurie and trades as “Confidential Automotive Recruitment Services” (CARS).
- 2002 – Autorecruit Pty Ltd is incorporated, trading as Confidential Automotive Recruitment Services.
- 2007 – Chris Fowler joins Autorecruit Pty Ltd. Between 2007 and the end of 2012, many changes made their way into our operations, including new websites, domains, systems, and more. We were also known by many as either Autorecruit, CARS, or our rather long-winded name, Confidential Automotive Recruitment Services.
- 2013 – In January we officially “rebrand” as Autorecruit and launch our current corporate logo.
AUTOrecruit was previously also known as Confidential Automotive Recruitment Services (CARS). There are a few other recruiters out there who try to sound like us, such as Autorecruitment and Autorecruiter, but we are the one and only original!
