Automotive Technician (AK7954)

Our client is seeking a fully qualified Automotive Technician to join their family-owned dealership group in the Whitsundays region.

Duties of role:

• Diagnostics and repair of vehicles to manufacturers standards
• Provide advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles
• Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
• Provide guidance and training to apprentices
• Relay information about vehicles to guests in a professional manner
• Road test vehicles and conduct final assessments prior to delivery or return of vehicle to guest
• Comply with OH&S policies

Essential skills and requirements:

• Qualifications as an Automotive Technician (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical)
• All brand experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience post trade qualification
• Manual drivers licence
• Strong communication skills
• Customer service focused
• High attention to detail
• Full Australian working rights
