Our client is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Service Technician to maintain and repair BYD's electric vehicles (EVs) and Hybrid Vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service.
What We're Looking For:
- Hold an Automotive technical certification.
- Experience with electric vehicles or hybrid vehicles is a plus.
- Proven experience in automotive repair or service technician roles.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Perform maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work on BYD electric vehicles and Hybrid Vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
- Ensure all service work meets the highest quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with service advisors about customers vehicle's needs and repair status.
- Keep accurate records of all service activities and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in EV technology.
