Jackie joined us in 2018 and holds a Certificate IV in Human Resources. Jackie spent 11 years with Brisbane Isuzu, focusing on recruitment, induction, payroll, and accounting. Jackie has also held a number of administration and accounting-focused roles with other dealerships in South East Queensland, including almost 12 years with Sunco Motors and 2.5 years with Honeycombes. Jackie recruits positions of all levels, but has a particular strength in positions involving heavy vehicles.

We are seeking applications from experienced Payroll Officers to join our client based on the Sunshine Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to join a solid team, build on your existing skills whilst living in a great part of Southeast Queensland!

About the ROLE:

A full-time role based centrally on the coast at our client’s Head Office in Maroochydore. 

As part of a small team, you will be required to assist in all aspects of payroll. This consists of but is not limited to.
  • Creation of new employees, ensuring correct ledger allocation
  • Processing of terminations incorporating calculation of redundancy payments
  • Establishing required superannuation set up & processing of same as per legislation.
  • Understanding of relative awards
  • Processing of weekly timesheets including leave, allowances, commission & associated deductions
  • End of Month & End of Year processing (incorporating taxation and child support requirements
  • Statistical/Analytical data submission to department heads
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
  • Prior experience in high volume wage processing
  • Attention to detail & time-management skills
  • Unipay payroll system (desire not essential)
  • Understanding of debits, credits & journal processing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & Access skills
