We’re working with a respected independent business owner who has created several mobile businesses across Southeast Qld. Their Sunshine Coast operation seeking qualified Roadworthy Vehicle Inspectors.
If you’re a certified Authorised Examiner with strong mechanical knowledge and a sharp eye for detail, this opportunity is well worth checking out.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll carry out roadworthy inspections across a wide range of vehicles, including:
- Light vehicles (LV), trailers (LT), heavy vehicles (HV), motorbikes (MC)
- Certificates of Inspection (COI) and heavy trailers (HT)
You’ll operate independently, using your own tools and be provided with specialised inspection equipment provided by the employer. You'll also ensure that all reports and certifications comply with QLD TMR regulations.
What You’ll Need:✔ Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical or equivalent (e.g. Mechanical Engineering)
✔ Queensland Authorised Examiner Certificate
✔ At least 3 current inspection codes (LV, LT, HV, HT, MC, COI)
✔ Strong knowledge of road safety standards and vehicle compliance
✔ Your own basic tools and a current QLD driver's licence
