Our client operates a successful busy dealership located in the coastal town of Nhulunbuy NT. They are seeking a Service Advisor to join their team and ensure the smooth day to day running of the Service department.

Whether you are familiar with the Top End, or happy to consider your options, this really is one place worth exploring! It is a beautiful region, which showcases some of the most picturesque 4wding in the country. The town has everything you need including schools, hospitals, boat club, Woolworths, shopping centre and Australia's most northern golf club!

To be considered for this role, the right person would either be a qualified Automotive Technician or an experienced Service Advisor, with strong mechanical knowledge. Experience with Toyota dealerships is essential.  They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate, have a commitment to excellent customer service and have a strong ability to multi-task.

Experience with Gateway/Voyager would be highly regarded.

Key job functions:
  • Service Advising and liaising with customers on work required
  • Producing repair orders
  • Taking enquiries from customers (face to face and by phone)
  • Invoicing all repair orders
  • Assigning and allocating work to service department
  • Liaising with workshop to ensure time constraints are met
  • Parts ordering
  • Handling customer complaints
  • Promoting a safe work environment
  • Warranty requirements 
This is a unique role and would really suit someone with experience in the front and back end of a dealership service department. You must also have the ability to step up and run the department, when the Service Manager is away.
