Our client is a well-established and highly respected privately-owned automotive dealership located in regional New South Wales. As part of a broader, high-performing automotive group, they offer a stable and rewarding environment for experienced leaders in the service space.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead their dynamic service department. This is a key leadership role with strong career prospects for the right candidate.

The Opportunity

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the service department, mentoring a team of skilled technicians and service advisors, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service and workshop efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the service department
  • Lead, support, and develop a high-performing team
  • Maintain a strong customer-first approach across all service touchpoints
  • Manage workflow, technician productivity, and parts ordering
  • Handle warranty claims and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Drive profitability while meeting KPIs and service targets
Your Background
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Manager within a dealership
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Solid mechanical knowledge and workshop experience
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient with dealership systems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results
