My client is a major truck dealer group with several other dealerships in Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory. I am seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter/Panel Beater to join their Head Office in Toowoomba.
This is a family owned & operated company that is home to major truck brands. The role is to join their Modification Department. This sector of the business operates with around 30 staff consisting of Technicians, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers and Spray Painters/Panel Beaters.
My client took over the business in 2018 after purchasing an existing operation that had been operating for some 25 years.
This full-time role will see you carry out spray painting of both new and used trucks in addition to the following:
Main duties:
- Painting guard systems
- Refurbishing new/used trucks
- Occasional insurance work – remove/repair damage
- Sanding, prepping, and priming of vehicles and vehicle accessories
- Maintaining equipment
Required skills and/or qualifications:
- Experience with Automotive painting
- Spray painting qualification desirable, however relevant experience will also be considered
- Ability to work under pressure, in fast paced environment
- Have good time management skills
- Be hard working and take pride in the work you produce
- Must hold current manual drivers’ licence HR/MR desired not essential
- Full Australian working rights required
