Our client in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead and manage their busy automotive shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, managing a team of mechanics and wheel aligners, and ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store
  • Manage and motivate a team of 2 mechanics and 3 wheel aligners
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Maintain a well-organised and efficient workshop environment
  • Manage scheduling and workflow to meet booking demands
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities for staff
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Qualifications:
  • Qualified mechanic with hands-on experience
  • Previous experience in a management role is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
