My client is looking for a
Purchasing Officer to join our National Parts Distribution Centre team in Brisbane. This
6-month fixed-term role comes with the potential to go
permanent for the right person. You’ll be part of a
tight-knit Purchasing Team within a broader parts team of 60.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Purchasing and replenishing parts inventory within set KPIs
- Raising purchase orders via inventory forecasting systems
- Monitoring supplier performance using IDS
- Supporting international inbound freight processes
What You’ll Bring:- 5+ years of purchasing and inventory management experience
- Knowledge of stock turn, aged inventory, and forecasting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Excel/MS Office and internal systems (IDS, ERA)
- A quick learner with a strong customer focus
